New Braunfels’ Code Compliance Guide instructs owners to keep non-operable vehicles fully enclosed on private property and outside public view. If your unwanted car is in a garage, mention the entrance height, whether it rolls and whether other items block access. Do not move it into public view simply to wait for collection; agree the loading arrangement first.

Identify the exact parked position.
Give the street address or nearest cross-street and describe whether the car moves. If there is a notice, keep its reference and use the local resource above for the issuing office’s instructions.
For every pickup: prepare the ownership documents, confirm the purchasing party and agreed amount, remove personal belongings, and keep the handover record.
