Describe the loading situation
Tell the purchasing partner whether the vehicle rolls and steers, whether keys are available and whether the car is behind a gate or inside a garage. Mention missing wheels, loose parts and leaks before arranging free towing.
Confirm the purchaser and amount
Agree the offer and purchasing business before collection. Cash is paid at pickup. If the vehicle is in an impound or storage facility, resolve its release arrangements separately; purchase towing does not settle an existing storage balance.
Remove personal items and plates
Check storage compartments and remove personal belongings and toll devices. Georgia’s selling guidance says the previous owner may keep the plate, transfer it to another vehicle or surrender it for cancellation. Confirm the appropriate arrangement before handover.
Retain documents and cancel registration
Keep a copy of the ownership transfer and bill of sale. Cancel Georgia registration before arranging the insurance cancellation and save the confirmation with your transaction records.
