Before confirming the pickup
Review the purchaser’s identity, agreed price, inspection conditions and towing terms. Describe whether the vehicle starts, rolls and steers, whether the keys are available and any missing wheels or parts. Explain gated access, parking-garage limits or a repair-shop release process.
Prepare the car and your records
Remove belongings and collect the agreed documents and keys. Save a copy of the offer and any instructions about inspection or payment. If the condition or access changes, tell the buyer before arrival rather than relying on the original description.
At handover
Check that the vehicle and buyer details match the paperwork. Review any change to the offer before accepting it, confirm the payment method and keep a receipt. Follow the applicable Florida plate-removal and title-signing steps; do not sign blanks or hand over sensitive account credentials.
After the vehicle leaves
